LIGHT PILLARS

Colorful Light Pillars appear frequently in winter when snow or ice crystals reflect light from a powerful source like the sun or moon. Assisted by a distinguished cold temperatures, the pillar of light appeared when the light bouncing off the flat surfaces of floating ice crystals are relatively close to the ground. Pillars looks like a feather light which extend vertically above or below the light source, or both. Pillars of light also in the form of artificial light sources such as street lights, car lights or strong light from ice skating arena as in the picture above from Fairbanks, Alaska. Although they are a local phenomenon, the pillar of light to look much like an aurora. The closer one sees the pillar of light source, the greater seems

There are isolated but may be separated from his group. It could be caused by three things: erosion, concretion and time. Firstly because of the waves, driven by the repetitive wave to thousands of years. Rock bottom is muddy.

ICE CIRCLES

Like crop circles, ice circle is a strange phenomenon that causes the formation of a strange circular pattern on the surface of the water.

Ice circle can occur anywhere, so if you see a circle pattern on the surface of a river or lake, it is possible that newly formed ice circle.

Ice Circle or the circle of ice is a phenomenon that appears in the water that has a slow flow in a cold climate. The shape resembles a giant dish which consists of ice and rotates slowly on the surface of the water. The mystery is in fact already been mentioned in the 19th century. An illustration of the Ice Circle pictures ever published in the magazine Scientific American in 1895. London News also reported this phenomenon that occurred in Toronto in 1930.

Circle Ice generally appear on the curve of the river where water flow is accelerated to create a force called "Rotational shear", which then broke the ice blocks and play. In line with the rotation of the disc, he grind the ice around it so that it becomes smooth and forms a perfect circle. This phenomenon has been identified although the cause, but it remains a rare occurrence.
